It is not always comfortable or accessible to lay on the ground to perform core exercises. In this video, Lauren will show you some traditional Yoga and Pilates postures that when performed strategically can really target trunk and spine musculature. We will use the Pilates Ring, a prop not always seen in a Yoga practice, to add resistance to some of these positions to create better resistance scenarios, since gravity doesn't always provide the force direction we need. This simple routine will make you feel taller and lighter for sure!
